Cutting Concrete – Control joints for the container pads
Today we removed the forms and revealed the concrete slabs as we worked on the final step before the shipping containers are delivered. We used a concrete cutting saw to put in the expansion/contraction control joints that allow the concrete to crack in a straight line as temperature and moisture levels change.
These cement pads will be used as the foundation that our shipping containers will sit on out at our OFF-GRID homestead.
